Sunset is a special time at newly-built Apollonium. Its beachfront position on Bozbuk Bay offers front row seats for a spectacular view, which sweeps across white-gold sand and a glittering, turquoise sea to a dramatic display of golden fire. If there’s an artist’s spirit in you, pack your brushes. This stunning slice of Turkey, with its backdrop of pine-clad forests and olive groves, is a painter’s and photographer’s dream.
While perfect for laid-back and romantic holidays, the village-style resorts´ centre also comes with plenty of family-based activities. The fabulous beach is a few short steps away and the Byblos Beach Club & Spa* is the perfect place to stretch out on a lounger, then enjoy a meal or sip a long cool drink while appreciating your awesome surroundings. And when ready to stretch your limbs, take a beach stroll or longer amble to enjoy the pretty, unspoilt countryside. There are lots of on-site facilities to choose from such as swimming pools (including a heated indoor pool), water slides, sauna, mini golf, tennis court, other water and outdoor sports etc.
Accommodation is modern and air-conditioned, supplied with all home comforts right down to electric juicers and coffee-making machines. You can happily stay put, but in an area that boasts so many ancient sites and pleasurable seaside towns, the closest being Akbuk (10 km), and Altinkum (35 km), it would be a shame not to make some excursions. The regular water boat taxi to Didim is a must, especially on Saturdays when the local market provides an authentic taste of Turkish lifestyle. Also, no visit to Turkey is complete without bargaining for locally produced, unique craftwork; so get practising your haggling skills!
